Excerpts from Subramaniam Swamy's speech on his accusations over Sonia Gandhi

What is this got to do with Freedom of Speech? After all, you did exercise your freedom of speech by putting an Ad and now you have been made accountable for it. How is it freedom of speech gets threatened by someone filing a suit, a question may be asked.

This precise question was raised in 1964 when New York Times published an Ad, about civil rights abuses in Alabama and particularly targeting police commissioner of capital of Alabama. And that Police commissioner filed a suit over New York Times and he claimed a damage of 10 million dollars. Those days 10 million dollars is more than 100 million dollars today. The lowers courts gave in to suit and imposed the cost on New York Times to pay 10 million dollars. NY Times went to state supreme court and state supreme court said, no, you have to pay the amount. So, they went to the Supreme Court finally and it became the most classic and most fundamental case called, “NY Times Vs Sullivan, the police commissioner of Alabama. This case has become the standard for defamation law suits. In that Supreme court said, publishing an advertisement, against public officials is only defamatory if that public official first proves that the advertisement is false, second that Public official also proves that New York Times knew it was false and yet published it and three that the the defendants prove that NY times knew it was false and yet went ahead and published it with reckless disregard for truth. Now, they asked the Police Commissioner, can you prove that? So the case was set aside and they were told to go back and start all over again at lower courts and prove that NY Times was fault on these grounds. Subsequenty, NY Times standard, which is called ‘actual malice’ , which is a technical term and do not confuse with dictionary meaning of malice. “Actual Malice’ means knowing something to be false, in utter disregard to the truth go ahead and publish it, that is actual malice. After the NY Times judgement, the supreme court in number of cases expanded the concept of public officials to public figure, basket ball player, public figure, lawyer appearing in a public case, public figure, you can even slander a lawyer, provided you can show that the case is a public case, so that a number of categories widened and widened.

Why is reversal of burden of proof for Public Figures?

This is what NY Times said, at the pain of litigation, at the pain of being sued for, what you speak, if public figures are allowed to go to court to sue for defamation, then it will have a chilling effect on public debate and democracy runs on public debate. Why are they seeking for a separate category for public officials? In the case of private person, files a defamation lawsuit, the other side (defendant) has to prove, the onus is on the other side (defendant side). In the case of public person, the onus comes on you (plaintiff), why? Why is this reversal of this burden of proof? The reversal is because the public person can call a press conference and say this is a lie and challenge the defendants to prove.

So the connection is if you impose that pain of litigation in a matter in public domain then that has a chilling effect on the debate in the country and therefore it is a violation of freedom of speech, it will let loose a feeling which will chill further incentive to debate and discuss.

The quest for knowledge starts as a simple sense of inquisitiveness, learning is just easy but the quest for knowledge leads us to many fortunate and unfortunate inferences of curious minds who lived before us, it rests upon us as men and women to research, re-present and republish the facts with unequivocal bias for the good of not just humans but for all.

The collected knowledge permeates, disturbs and protects you. It constantly focuses you to rebuild your consciousness to better moral standards and to aim for a better quality of life. After a while the consciousness has rebuilt itself many a time over and you get to understand the underlying design of consciousness which has started you towards the quest for knowledge.

At that time the simple sense of inquisitiveness is no more and the underlying pulse to constantly aim for richness of life for yourself and all is revealed.

From this point you start to understand the design of life better and the inherent motives of the designer (creator) who made it, you start to inspect the tool set that has been given to you and you are ready for the proper usage of the tools that has been given by the designer (creator). When this stage is reached, humility is no longer a word but becomes your nature, you start to work with the design and achieve great results for yourself.

As you achieve great results for yourself, you start to wonder about the immense debt that you owe to the knowledge that has been collected, for so many lives have been lost for Sun Tzu to write the "Art of War", so many hours of life was spent by Sushrutha to write down "Sushrutha Samhitha", so many years before Tiruvalluvar could think, ponder and write his treatise on life sciences "Tirukural" and it goes on, looking at the sheer dedication of all these individuals your conscience comes to know of its own indebtedness towards the forerunners who explored the designs of nature and it dawns upon you that you should resolve this debt till you spend your last breath.

As you wonder about your indebtedness you, also seek greater knowledge as to why our ancestors were driven by the same sense of inquisitiveness, finally it dawns upon you that the nature of the game you are playing is to find that life is nothing and you are trapped in this world of sensory perception where the rules of the game are to do what pleases your senses and cause no hurt to anyone in that process.

As you wonder what pleases your senses, you will find that "to fall in your own eyes" is the greatest tragedy of life and the greatest pleasure being "to rise in your own eyes", once you are at this level, no barrier seems hard, no opponent greater and everything and everyone is your friend. If he is against you, it is because he hasn't tuned into this frequency of thinking.

Few thoughts that I would like to mention about the "Greatness of Humanity",

so many lived barbaric lives before Buddha intervened in Asia, Prophet Mohammed and Jesus in Middle East and Europe.

so many never knew Google till they died and so many will never know, so many worked on the internet and toiled their lives not just to make money but to cater for a purpose above all which they clearly didn't know but knew for sure that this will change the world and make the consciousness of many blossom

So what should be done with all the knowledge that has been collected and assimilated over the course of years, especially at this point of time where humans virtually have access to infinite wisdom via the internet...

Can we be more responsible and let ourselves blossom?

We could make sure that every young child in this country got a great education. We fall far short of that. I know from my own education that if I hadn't encountered two or three individuals that spent extra time with me, I'm sure I would have been in jail."

Clearly, good teachers are vital. But why are they so rare? "The problem there, of course, is the teachers' unions. The unions are the worst thing that ever happened to education because it's not a meritocracy. It turns into a bureaucracy, which is exactly what has happened. Nobody can be fired. It's terrible."

Can the problem be sidestepped by using computers and electronic teaching aids? No, says Jobs. "I've helped with more computers in more schools than anybody else in the world, and I am absolutely convinced that is by no means the most important thing. The most important thing is a person. Computers are very reactive but they're not proactive; they are not agents."

How do we create a system with good, motivated teachers? Jobs has a clear answer: we need competition between schools in attracting students and teachers, not unaccountable government schools with a lockhold on government funding.

Jobs says, "What we need in education is to go to the full voucher system. The customers (in education) are the parents, and the customers went away. Mothers started working and they didn't have time to spend at PTAmeetings and watching their kids' school. Schools became much more institutionalised and parents spent less and less and less time involved in their kids' education.

What happens when a customer goes away and a monopoly gets control, which is what happened in our country, is that the service level almost always goes down. I remember seeing a bumper sticker when the telephone company was all one. I remember seeing a bumper sticker with the Bell Logo on it and it said, "We don't care. We don't have to." And that's what a monopoly is. And that's certainly what the government school system is. They don't have to care."

The economics of state education is crazy, says Jobs. The US government spends lots on education: around $4,400 per child per year. This is double the cost of buying a small car in instalments. But such educational spending isdone by the government, and is not within the power of the household.

There is confusion between Varna, Jati and Caste. While the term varna refers to the four broad different classes in society, the term jati refers to the different specific endogamous sections of the Hindu Society which are known as castes. Varna means "color" as well as "veil". It shows the four different ways in which the Divine Self is hidden in human beings. In the context of color people have confused it to mean race but it actually represents the distinct qualities (guna) that the four functional classes possess in their hearts and minds. The four different qualities of human beings:

If a person possessed the qualities of purity, love, faith and detachment, seek true knowledge and have a spiritual temperament, they would be represented by the color White (sattva = truthful). Those that belong to this color, belong to the Brahman class.
If a person possessed the qualities of action, will, aggression, and energy, seek honor, power, status and have a martial and political temperament, they would be represented by the color Red (rajas = energetic; the color of blood, sacrifice). Those that belong to this color belong to the Kshatriya class.
If a person tried to seek communication, interchange, trade, business and possessed a commercial temperament they were represented by the color Yellow. They make up the Vaishya class.
For those individual in society who love of growing crops (nature) the love of arts(shudra)(farmers and artisans) they were represented by the color Black (tamas = inert, solid). Those belonging to this color are shudras

Look at this play list Kalki Bhagwan the Criminal of videos, you will know what the heck spirituality is all about. Kudos to who took these videos but I feel sad for the people who are shown in this video, their identities are not concealed, but I believe they are doing their bit to expand their spiritual service by showing the people what is happening behind the scenes.

So many babas, three of the latest, Swami Bhimanand, Swami Nithyanand and the criminal couple Kalki and Amma bhagwan. They did everything immoral.

Nithyanand is a smart swami, he hasn't done anything illegal so far but he limited himself to immoral stuff, he can't be punished under law but still he made a fool of so many.

Bhimanand should be arrested under PITA (Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act)

Kalki Bhagwan should be arrested under The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Except for Bhimanand everyone is gonna get light punishments under the law, hardly matters for the gross time of so many people they have wasted.

People should learn from this.

In the British comedy Bedazzled there is a scene where the Devil, played by Peter Cook, comes to earth and meets Dudley Moore, your average man-on-the-street. Moore asks the Devil, “Why did you revolt against God.”

“Come, I’ll show you,” says the Devil. He perches himself atop a pillar box and tells Moore to kneel at its base. “Now, start grovelling and praising me,” says the Devil.

Moore starts grovelling and singing the Devil’s praises. When he shows signs of flagging the Devil goads him into grovelling more obsequiously, praising him even more loudly.

After a while Moore says: “Hey, this is getting boring. Can’t we change places for a while.”

“Exactly,” says the Devil. “That answers your question as to why I walked out on God: worshipping Him is boring.”

God-worship is not just boring; it is the ultimate in trivialisation. It infinitely trivialises the boundlessness of the cosmos that lies, seamlessly, both outside and within us. God-worship reduces the Creator – the First Principle, the Big Bang, the Singularity, whatever you want to call whatever it is that started it all – to a Lalaji who likes to surround himself with sycophantic yes-men, forever extolling his virtues. Is the Force that created everything, from the gossamer glow of the endless galaxies to the rainbow sheen of the dragonfly’s wings, no more than that, a petty bossman who thrives on the most undiluted flattery? God help us, and the universe, if he is.

And what does God-worship make of us, the devotees? In public, we say that when we pray, when we petition God for a boon, it is for all humankind, for all creation. We say we pray for world peace, for a cure for cancer, for a solution to global warming and climate change. And perhaps we do.

In the privacy of our innermost desires, however, our prayers are almost invariably personal: Oh, God, help me to pass my exam, get a good job, find someone suitable to marry, get my green card, win the lottery of life.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in wishing for any or all of these things. Indeed, they’re all good things which any sensible person would wish for. But why make it God’s job to get you what you want? Why give up your responsibility to make of your life what you can and what you will?

A French sociologist has likened personal prayer and the giving of votive offerings to bribery. He has noted that in countries where the tradition of personalised God-worship is most entrenched –as in India, and in Roman Catholic Italy – the incidence of bribery in everyday life is also proportionately high. If God himself is a Babu who can be bribed to do your bidding with a prayer and a few diyas or candles, where’s the harm in slipping some currency notes to a bureaucrat or politician or policeman to do what you want done? Doesn’t God himself teach us to bribe? In which case, how can bribery and corruption be bad things, if they’re God-given?

The atheist not only lives according to a higher code of ethics than that sanctioned by a bribable God, but also inhabits a higher plane of spirituality. This is far from being a paradox. God-worship, in which typically the devotee seeks to get personal desires granted, inevitably reinforces and entrenches the sense of self, of one’s individual ego which is special and separate from all other created beings and forms. God-worship is really self-worship, a deification of one’s ego, and as such the hardest obstacle to overcome in the journey of spiritual liberation.

The atheist realises that God did not create humankind in his image; humankind created God in its own image: selfish, gullible and by nature susceptible to flattery and bribes. Rather than pay lip service to such a God, the atheist chooses to disown God and God-worship. And in doing so, the atheist takes the first step on the path to freedom from the silken bonds of maya.

Some tips for reading/writing books or documents - Seductive Reading/Writing

I am not talking about novels here, but all other informative books.

Glance the book, understand the ebbs and flows of the book from its preface, know what can be expected from different parts of the book. Glance the manuscript to get a feel on the author's style of presentation.

You may not be convenient with the style of presentation, if you are feeling convenient, you are saved otherwise if the document/book is from a SME (Subject Matter Expert), the style of presentation probably suits the domain necessity, so get around by morphing ur mind to the author's style of presentation for a while. A good book will have consistent style of presentation, so you get a mental picture of a list of items you are looking after 2 to 3 chapters of reading.

A good book should inform the author about the change in the ebb, flow and the speed of narration and take the reader into its lap before the change, this has to be done by meaningful conversation to the reader.

A good book should have references to previous section on what has been said, if not the reader should build the references, writing or scribbling or drawings on the book helps.

I strongly believe a book has to be owned by the reader, his presence be instilled in the book by his constant ranting on all pages, in the way you own the book, it stays close to your heart, you never miss what you learnt and you are destined for success coz you own the information from the book.

A good author should post some ways of contacting him.

A good reader should not have any ego, he should be charmful enough to thank the author of the book, may be send him an email or a letter or atleast thank him in his blog or social network account, I consider that charmful reading, sometimes the way you read seduces you, my reading style is seductive and yours??? :)

Keeping Me Happy

After this many years of life, I think I have stepped upon things which can keep me happy...

Money really doesn't make me happy but I need a good amount of it to make things happen...

Hobbies, I never had one and I believe my latest addition "Kick Boxing" in ShootFighters, Bangalore; has satisfied that need greatly, I am meeting new people in "Kick Boxing", we are a happy bunch fighting each other, very proud of being in a kind and egoless community but we get really serious at fights, very serious, after it is over, it is really over, we don't carry any emotional garbage and we feel free...

I need to mention about Ashwin and Arwin here, Ashwin is the chief coach in shoot fighters, he is one moving body of energy, seeing him really brightens things up, he is so sure about what he says and he is mostly bang on target, Arwin is the trainer for our batch and he is a very friendly person, despite all his skills, he keeps calm and stays focussed, he can make pain seem less frightening during training, the chi-gong practices he thought me has definitely calmed me down and relieved me of a long standing shoulder injury for the past 2 years.

I believe men have to be men, thinking of God and karmic struggles that our mom's taught us during our childhood have mellowed our generation down big time, I strongly believe knowingly or unknowingly women have conspired against men for world domination, that's ok though but they have gone too far to mend our ways, they can't keep us their pets all the time, it is too boring...

For me life is about fighting, just fighting. It is enough if I stay alive and fight for what I want, it is enough, what if I lose in a fight, I will accept defeat and get better, what if it is a sin, accept the sin and just keep moving on, there are no excuses in life, one has to pay for what he wants and what he does, so I am really happy fighting and paying...

Now what else, I am taking this fighting spirit not just in fight clubs but everywhere I move, fighting is life itself.

100 - The Cops and the bomb scare

I just had a strange lunch time... :)

There was a suspicious suitcase in Tavarekere road, opposite to Forum Mall, it was a junction and there was no one around to enquire about it, I waited for 5 minutes and I called the police, bingo 100 worked from Mobile.

I told them about this suspicious suitcase, it was a big one with strings tied around it, looked odd for such a costly suitcase. I just walked for lunch as I didn't want to be in the place and didn't want to create a panic unnecessarily, since it was a traffic junction, it didn't make sense too.

When I came back from lunch there was beggar like man sitting next to that costly suitcase and smoking beedi, this time I was even more suspicious... I called the control room again to tell them this was the case, as I was speaking there was police and traffic police roaming around in their pulsars to find the spot, before I could call them they moved off.

I got a call from control room again after 15 minutes of me lodging my call, that was quick response time I would say, they said the beggar had got a gift from a college student with just clothes in the brief case, the control room lady thanked me for being alert.

Overall a nice experience I would say, post 26/11 and terror attacks, I say the police have very quick response times, nice.

I have decided to crack the Karmic Puzzle....

Solving this puzzle has given me immense excitement and a new breath of air.

There is a length and breadth to everything, however infinite it may be, so is this vast expanse of the universe.

This could be the missing piece that many holy books don't tell u, read carefully if u wanna know, coz there is no point dangling between GOD and NO GOD.... I prefer to be an Atheist and I have went about proving it without the GOD theory..... It will suit u if u feel lacking fun to pray to God and the good and bad Karma might be bogging u down....

Long long ago, the universe was empty, nothing happening.... There was material but no material, everything existed but nothing existed, actually everything existed in nothingness. There was everything but inside nothing.... :) confusing!!!! just read a little bit more....

EVERYTHING that existed in NOTHING decided that there was nothing exciting about being EVERYTHING in NOTHING, so EVERYTHING decided to get inside SOMETHING but there was no SOMETHING for EVERYTHING to go in...

So a few of EVERYTHING decided to become the earth, a few of EVERYTHING decided to become water and henceforth, still EVERYTHING found that there was no game being in just SOMETHING, a game has to be created, so they decided for a game to be interesting, the game has to have positive and negative markings, they setup a rule called Karma and sent out a voting ballot....

Everything in EVERYTHING agreed to the Karma rules and the game began.... No majority or minory, Everything in EVERYTHING agreed.... uber cool right.... :)

Now u would wonder, would everything that became non-living be non-living all the time, no ur wrong... In a democracy, India may not be smart but EVERYTHING in everything was smart, so they said after a particular life time, everything in EVERYTHING would take turns to be SOMETHING....

So if u are water responsible for TSUNAMI in Bannerghatta road and if someone had to wade through you to reach office and you gave them ill-health, that someone will be born again as water when water is born as someone and irritate someone.... hmmm... confusing... read slowly.....

So ideally if u saw a beautiful blonde and ur jaws dropped, the same thing will happen to that blonde when she were in ur form and u in that blonde's form.... caution... don't drop ur jaws to dumb blondes.... else u will have to go through one life time of dumbnesss...... :)

If u think this is such a waste of time, why would EVERYTHING prefer to waste time.... MY GOD u are thoroughly mistaken by the foolishness of ur narrowed wisdom of eat, work and sleep.... IF U SEE clearly, there was nothing to do for EVERYTHING in NOTHING, infact TIME does not exist for EVERYTHING in NOTHING, TIME exists because a few of EVERYTHING wanted to add a little more masala in this GAME....

101 - The fire brigade

It was the first time ever I was near a fire accident...

There was thick black smoke coming out of a closed shop... I was standing around to get some roti for dinner...

I just got the Nokia 5800 and hadn't installed my backups in it yet... I didn't have the emergency numbers that I stored before.

My God, I could see none in the surrounding taking this incident seriously, fire if not stopped properly on time could destroy the entire neighbourhood.

My foot, shame to call the fools standing around educated, none were bothered, most were software engineers and didn't know the number and didn't have any muscle moving to call the FIRE brigade... SHAME SHAME SHAME... I saw a poor lad who didn't seem so educated trying to call the FIRE brigade...

All this time, I was scanning my memory for the phone no. of the emergency contact... thought it was 101, bingo it ringed, I informed the FIRE brigade and I was too happy about it, I am very proud of what I did and my memory got a good test too...

I know by heart that the no was 101 but thought otherwise since it is some government thing, it may not work as usual, it was good to give it a try, it also felt pretty heartening that our Emergency Response Units are on their toes... GOD BLESS THEM...

Do you know the response time of our fire brigade, commendable... 11 minutes... they were on the spot doing something...

A GENERATION ago, the traditional "oil bath" daily or weekly was a regular practice. It was integral to our culture, tradition and lifestyle. Not anymore. By forsaking this practice, we are ignoring a fantastic health tradition.

Daily self-Abhyangam: The benefits are such that a light self-Abhyangam (oil application) is recommended daily. Applying a little oil to the scalp and body half an hour before bath each day is an important healthcare practice. It slows down aging, is good for the eyesight, improves sleep, minimises the onset of joint pains and rheumatic ailments such as arthritis, osteoporosis and prevent sinusitis when applied to the scalp each day before bath. An Abhyangam also does wonders for skin tone and complexion.

Oil applied to the scalp and body seeps into the various layers of skin and enters the blood stream enhancing blood circulation.

In the processes, it removes metabolic wastes, toxins and impurities revitalising and purifying body tissues, organs and muscles. On a day-to-day basis, Abhyangam will make you noticeably more productive and focussed as it helps cope up with the day's pressures by making you feel relaxed, energetic, stress free and calm of mind.

Using medicated oils: What is popularly considered an Ayurvedic "massage" is referred to as an oil application by Ayurvedic practitioners.

An Abhyangam has a much deeper affect on one's health than an ordinary massage, which just relaxes the muscles. While intensive Abhyangam is integral to treating serious ailments in Ayurveda, a daily Abhyangam at home can be had with sesame oil (mustard oil is used in some parts of the country). Coconut oil is recommended for the scalp. Medicated oils provide added benefits.

A few tips are to be kept in mind when giving a self-Abhyangam: If you are using medicated oil, the oil meant for the body should not be applied on the head, but oil recommended for the scalp can be applied on the body.

Also, oil meant to arrest hair fall and stimulate growth is not advisable for a patient suffering from sinusitis or cold. When slightly warmed (not hot), the oil will help penetrate the skin faster and deeper.

Pour a little oil in your hands and apply to the scalp, first, starting on the top of the head. Rub a little oil over the body and progress downwards towards the feet.

While applying oil, follow the direction of hair growth to facilitate absorption and to go with the blood flow.

It is recommended that at least half an hour to one hour be allowed after applying oil and before taking a bath. A morning Abhyangam before bath is advisable.

There is no insistence on applying oil on the head after bath (except for keeping hair in place).

The benefits of a daily Abhyangam in maintaining health and preventing disease are so high that it will ensure there will be no necessity to go in for intense oil treatments such as dhara or phizhichil, which are administered to those suffering from serious ailments.

I think our way out of this mess could be to incorporate compulsory military service rather than looking for people, looking at the bounty of opportunity our Indian Minds are having there will always be more on the table than Military service. This move from our government is very good, this one will counter most of the problems created by terrorists.

This is useful enough to put more pressure on the hardliners, the recruitment agencies for the terrorist organizations are gonna have a head spin from now on.

A good movie indeed, thought provoking one, watch it if u haven't done it.

Meeting aggression with aggression is the main theme, Naserrudin Shah and Anupam Kher have done a great job of portraying their characters, the way this movie was taken is certainly astounding, original thought indeed, hats off to the director.

I am not going to share the story, it is very good to spill out, watch it to feel it...

This was good, but somehow meeting agression with agression doesn't seem to be a great idea nowadays to me, I think I have brought out a framework on handling terrorism, the idea is to make terrorism useless.

I will discuss this with you all in parts soon.... I bet the psychological maps I have created will help resolve the problem... Lets see... as usual I am open to strong criticism...

Why didn't the ATS throw out chloroform bombs at terrorists.

I am sure they would have got dizzy and slept like monkeys, we could have had a cake walk.

I think the nation has been riddled after watching too many hollywood movies.

I say a gun fight is necessary when it is necessary, but then I see no necessity for such a gun fight in this situation.

OK, somebody will ask me this intelligent question, "What happens to our own army men?", I know, I know, haven't you seen OXYGEN cylinders and masks.

But some are too intelligent, they will ask me this, "What happens if the terrorists have oxygen masks?", "Arre Deewano, they will only have limited supplies, how long would they last?", our army men will have unlimited supplies, there is no cause to worry.

But some will be too intelligent, they will ask this also, "What happens when the terrorist have oxygen cylinders for say a few hours, wouldn't they wreak havoc?", I say they could have used smoke screens such as DRY ice to reduce their vision.

But if at always have guns and bombs as a last line of defense, so no cause to worry, chloroform bombs are worth the try.

I strongly believe, use of chloroform bombs will make enemies even, my god, I have just struck upon a wonderful idea to stop war..... :)))

Straying Discipline

My discipline has strayed in the last couple of days; don't know what happened to me.

A couple of set backs and I am back to ground zero, I don't like this about myself.

I have to get it back and keep working out, part of the reason was I had a terrible fever, at least my mental discipline should have been ok, but I strayed big time, this is pathetic.

A Few of the self-discipline norms I want to get back immediately,

1) Be awake all through the day
2) Keep the back bone straight all through the day
3) Sleep only for 4:30 hours
4) Just because I am sick, I can't stray and eat all sorts of oily food, thats no excuse in fact a healthy diet is much better during sick days.
5) Only good thoughts.
6) Seek sensational silence.

Its been a whole 2 weeks since I started eating bread, oats, milk, eggs and veggies pretty raw.

I am fed up of eating outside in Blore.

I interestingly gained a wonderful habit of chewing my food properly in these days and my health has been in a steady ramp up ever since.

I just cooked a spicy dish today and I am surprised at what happened, I just wanted to chew the food properly but my mind wouldn't listenl; I almost gulped all of my food coz the dish was so tasty and all my attempts to chew the food went in vain despite repeated inputs to my mind to chew the food, ahn!!! now I understand why we have very bad health Index in the world.

Mahathma Gandhi - What made him believe that he could lead the dream of the entire nation. Being an excellent barrister, if he would have used his analytical mind, I think he would have backed off fearing his life.

Bruce Lee - How did he ever get the guts to fight the Martial Arts Junta, he was not supposed to deliver Kung fu skills to non-Chinese, but he did, he braved many people's wrath, he survived a fatal injury in a Game of Death, he came back and envisioned Jeet Kune Do.

Many men and many stories, each gets better than the other, these are people who can't even stand next to professionals like you and me in terms of analytical ability, but as professionals we can't stand next to them in their strength of belief.

From now on I have come to the conclusion that my analytical mind has done enough damage to me already, I have to come out of it and start believing "I can" simply, I am certain this will take me through the right path, WISH ME GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gifted myself a lot of things this birthday, a new bike, a new attitude, a new outlook, a fresh mind and an alert mind.

I have grown in knowledge of this world and I really feel proud of myself on this 25th bday, I just want to kiss myself but unfortunately GOD's design does not permit that, so a lift of the collar and a peck in the cheek is what I gave to myself.

I just saw a movie called Kung-fu panda, the movie was fun all the way, it was an absolute entertainer, besides I took a valuable lesson from this movie.

"The secret of the secret ingredient is nothing", what a phrase, this is exactly what I was looking for a very long time, my stupid logical brain did not understand this subtle existential logic.

It was well said in the movie that, to make something special, you just have to believe it's special.

Now this is the base of positive thinking, I love this.

I've been thinking long and alone on what's in love and marriage, to my logical eye it did not make sense at all, now it's so simple in both love and marriage the couples believed it to be special, this is the secret ingredient for ever lasting love and long lasting marriages.

I've been exploring this arena for some time now, I really don't know how this happens, all through my life, I have never struggled hard for answers, when I want it, it just comes to me or is this perception created because of my alertness, I do not know.

Manoj.NIGHT.Shyamalan, I will call him Manoj.BULB.Shyamalan from now on, for the past three movies that I have watched, there is only BULB after BULB.

I wasted 185 bucks to watch this movie, when I was getting it partially downloaded via torrents, I should have waited for 12 more hours to get the torrent fully downloaded, I would have escaped, from next time on his movies are reserved for P2P and definitely not in THEATERS.

A Godfather like movie with a stupid portrayal of bigger than life image of the Sarkar Raj.

All scenes are in slow motion, nobody seems to be in normal pace. The tempo of the movie is the worst of all, it always portrays a hyped up image of the Bachans and others involved, it just makes the viewer think the world is tooooo bad, toooooooooooo bad and nothing else.

Whenever there are mind games at play, you can better close your eyes and ears, the acting is worst and the music will kill your ears.

The way Amitabh goes on a killing spree to avenge Abhishek's death is the worst of all, he even manages to kill Aishwarya Rai's father in London with his henchmen from Mumbai :), when Amitabh reveals this to Aishwarya, she is unusually calm and does not break into tears or feel angry for Amitabh.

Whoa!!!!!!!! Aishwarya joins the Amitabh fraternity and in the final scene says "Ek Jan Lo", simply pathetic, it is also a nice invitation for the next part, but I have already decided not to watch it.

What did Bachans gain from this movie?

Somehow they portrayed their loyalty towards Maharashtra in this movie, that's pathetic real life and screen life......................

Flush Door Logic

What the heck?

I read a recent article on Environmental Awareness on World Environment Day.

There was one logic which just got my attention and made me feel amused for a while.

The piece looked like this,

"You have to save water, every drop counts, buy flush doors with both 2 ltr and 5 ltr flushes", you know obviously what each is supposed to do :).

Now this is another way of making the uber rich spend some money as some are seriously concerned about water wastage.

Now what are people supposed to do when they have a flush door with only 5 ltr flushes?

Simple,

When you have done your job on the pot, push your flush knob down, when you feel the water that flowed through is enough pull it back up, the water will stop, you get better control than a seperate 2 ltr and 5 ltr flush.

Imagine the cost of purchasing one new flush system, it is equally harmful to buy new things every now and then, manufacturing of mindless materials is absolutely harmful to the environment, imagine the harmful gases released during the process of manufacturing, imagine the cost of transporting these mindless materials, imagine the pollutants released during transport, what happens to your old flush system? it gets recycled, imagine one more round of recycling and transportation cycle.

The real cause of environmental degradation is primarily caused by people who fail to apply the following logic.

This movie is Kaaka Kaaka Chinese style, they made the Telugu version (Garshana) I suppose, the heroine does not die.

Lot of good fight scenes, acrobats and music.

The way they kick brutally and jump around is a pleasure to watch.

The style of martial arts performed here is the latest trend in moder martial arts, a hint of Tae Kwon Do, grappling, wrestling, Muoay Thai and Judo and that's the latest trend in SIMPLE terms.

It also has the sentiments and drama that are usually present in Tamil movies, was a real fun to watch, just keep your intelligence away for a while and watch the Chineese performance.

Self Discipline

I want my self-discipline back, I am tired of being indisciplined.

I want to be time-conscious, profit conscious, growth conscious and I want to get rid of laziness.

I want to pack my day with lot of work and give myself not more than 5 hours of sleep.

I want to work out for 14 hours per week.

I want to segregate information and may be make a software to do that, I want to get a standard procedure running for cleaning my home, work outs, computer maintanence etc., I've been planning to do these for too long, but I have never done it.

I've been thinking lately for long and non-stop, as everything lurks, there is a cause and an effect to everything lurking. The cause of this was that, my mother always used to say that "I have never faced situations like what you are facing now?", she meant the increased pressure, little drive, little time for leisure, much less time for personal thoughts, no out doors, lot of expenditure + inflation, where even a hefty pay cheque would belittle the very thoughts of future planning, to add on unstable women and crash routes to becoming nothing from where only demons can pitch back into this big bad ugly world, where good men are destined only to doom.

I guess it is all true, money just can't do a thing, it is as volatile as camphor and would fly away from you as easily as a paper, the chances of it coming back to you, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm don't imagine.

Amidst all these where is one supposed to stand in this world?

I don't know, still looking for answers..............

The past ages of large families, large brotherhoods with relatives and friends visiting often, plenty of leisure time, festivals at the local temple, the trust that people had on each other and the innocent but sharp minds have bygone and nothing in this world is working to pull those back into this planet.

The Micro Worlds of father, mother, brother and sister and sometimes miserably ending a loner like me with none to lay back on, these minds are truly Disturbed in these Micro Worlds where the Macrocosm just lost its humaneness.
